Created in 1974, the "Genie Enzymatique et Cellulaire" Unit UMR 7025 CNRS (GEC) is established in 2 different places

- Université Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens, UPJV)
Building on its national and international acknowledged expertise in biotechnology, GEC develops approaches combining optimization of the utilization of bioresources or plant metabolism and creation of bioinspired materials or compounds dedicated to molecular recognition to address the scientific and technological today’s and tomorrow’s challenges.
